Ampo Ordizia debuted the winning record of the season in the first match played at home in Altamira. Before their parish, which was returning to the stands, the Ordiziarras prevailed 34-12 against Les Abelles who offered a lot of resistance and it was difficult to overcome them, despite the final score.

There is no small rival and the Valencians showed, as last week against Silverstorm El Salvador, that to beat them you have to be patient and work hard each group, each touche, each scrum, each maul, each open … Locals were focused, they were patient and although it was difficult, they finally opened the can after 27 minutes with the first trial of the season. Since the league started last week, the drought lasted for 107 minutes and it was Anthony Matoto who scored the first Ordiziarra test and after Cruz’s transformation he again overtook Ampo Ordizia on the scoreboard, 13-12. Until that moment, Les Abelles neutralized a hopeful start for the Goierritarras with three penalties in eight minutes that put them ahead 6-9. In the first ten minutes, Cruz opened the scoring in the first minute and a precious drop gave a 6-0 lead, which heralded a great game.

The game was played from power to power, but Les Abelles did a lot of damage between minutes ten and 25. In defense they managed to cancel the local passing lines and in attack, without risking and seriously, they got disciplinary fouls from Ampo Ordizia that put ahead.

You had to stay calm, as it was easy to despair and there is no better remedy than to seek the strengths of the team. One of those strengths is the mobility of his forwards and that’s how the first three trials came.

In the 27th minute, after a blow thrown to touche, the oval was not lost and after a maul the Ordizian forwards entered all the way to add that first test. With 13-9 on the scoreboard, the break was reached.

Three traced essays

The second part began with a Les Abelles squeezing and thus shortened the disadvantage after a blow, 13-12, although Ampo Ordizia already felt more confident of his strength.

They began to play more in the opposite field and that helped to force shots that ended within the line of 22 of Les Abelles. In the 52nd minute a touche modeled on that of the first test, also on the right wing, made Carvajales come out on the left surprising the defenders and scored a second test that put land in the middle with the conversion of Cruz.

Not even eight minutes passed when the play was repeated again and it was the third time. If the second trial was similar to the first, the third was a carbon copy of the second. Practically the same rehearsal, but this time it was Oier Goia who came out on the left, to add his first rehearsal and put the 27-12 with the transformation of Cruz. The 15-point lead gave peace of mind to the team and the stands. The victory, worked, could not be escaped.

The following minutes were Ordizia dominance, but in a counter, Les Abelles bottled Ordizia, although with ten minutes to finish the clash came the fourth test. Alain Araña intercepted a pass almost under Ordiziarra sticks and after a 90-meter run he rehearsed under sticks to make it 34-12 and practically close the game.
