Academia Kejuke de Colón conquers mixed U10 of the Kiwanis Basketball League

The mixed U10 category LBK brought together 13 teams divided into 2 conferences

An undefeated clash was the characteristic note to define the mixed U10 division of the Basketball League organized by the Kiwanis Club of Panama, with a victory for the Kejuke Colonense Academy by narrowly defeating the Lions Calle P by a score of 36 to 33.

Both representations that played the most important match in the category reached the final stages with a mark of six victories in the same number of presentations.

Neymar Ballesteros was decisive in the match that defined the championship with 16 points, while Edward Plummer with 14 units contributed to the losing cause.

In a modality that faced, according to the standings, teams from groups A and B that, due to positioning, played defining matches turned into individual finals, whose emotions did not wait in clashes that turned out to be even and with an optimal competitive level.

The mixed U10 category LBK brought together 13 teams divided into two conferences, for a total of 42 regular round matches and six mini-championships that allowed the sports programs of each of the participants to measure the evolution of their members in two months of the tournament.

More than 160 children from different sectors of the country gathered in this great sporting event, which consolidates the League as the only one that maintains the norm of social integration through sport, offering the same opportunities to all its participants, without distinction. .

In other results of the so-called mini-championships, Kiwanis from El Chorrillo beat Hard Work Basketball by score from 23 to 15. Jair Flores and Neymar Robles, both with six points, were key in the Chorrillera victory.

AIP Owls Blue accounted for Shooters Factory 24-20 in overtime. Eduardo Salceda and Marcos Corcioni, both with eight points, were pillars of the academic victory in a cardiac match at all times.

With 11 points from Khrist Ardines, the VIP Crickets of Parque Lefevre beat the Colonial representation of Doctors New Generation by 23 to 20. While Maicol Alarcón scored nine points for Atlantic Basketball to defeat AIP Owls Gold by a score of 37 to 18 .

The mixed U10 was planning a totally formative tournament, motivated to promote the systematic practice of the sport of the hoop and the ball to strengthen the basketball seedbed full of talented promises.
