The National Government approved last weekend the capacity of 40% in all sports stadiums in the country with immediate effect for all national basketball competitions.
Given this, the president of the Venezuelan Basketball Federation (FVB), Hanthony Coello, applauded the measure and considered that represents one more step to the consolidation of sport.
“We are very happy that national basketball has more support from the public in person. This is a great step towards the return to sporting normality in our discipline ”, highlighted Coello.
40% capacity in basketball competitions
Since March 2020, sports activity in Venezuela andI was conditioned by the pandemic and the Basketball Super League was no exception; premiering in its first edition in a bubble format that took place on the island of Margarita at the time.
This next edition will be held in a cup format, although the start date has yet to be confirmed.
