Young Boys vs Manchester United, Hosts Make Comeback

BERN – Manchester United (MU) failed to beat Young Boys in the first match of Group F of the 2021/2022 Champions League. Because, the match was won by the hosts 2-1.

The duel for Young Boys vs at the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf, Tuesday (14/9/2021) ended with a surprise. The Red Devils had taken the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal in the first half.

However, the Young Boys were unexpectedly able to turn things around. The Swiss representative scored two goals in a row through Nicolas Ngamaleu and Theoson Jordan Siebatcheu after the break.

First round

Man United immediately built an attack from the first minute. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s fleet quickly surrounded the opposing defense in search of opportunities.

It didn’t take long, Ronaldo immediately brought the English League representative ahead in the 13th minute. Starting from Bruno Fernandes’ bait from the side of the field, CR7 was in the right position to make a flick into the goal.

The ball that had been held by Young Boys goalkeeper David von Ballmoos was released and rolled past his feet which then went into the goal. Man United lead 1-0.
