On their best-at-bat of the game, the bottom team in major league baseball first saw Jahmai Jones hitting a double that saw two of his teammates trample the plate. Jorge Mateo and Kelvin Gutierrez then hit singles and added two more points to the Orioles’ harvest.
The relief and the defensive of the victors subsequently muzzled the attack of the Bronx Bombardiers. In position during the seventh round, gunner Andrew Heaney (8-9) suffered the backhand.

The Red Sox can’t complete the sweep
At Fenway Park, the Cleveland Indians won 11-5 and avoided being swept away in a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox.
