SRT renamed to RNF MotoGP Racing next season

GridOto.com – The Sepang Racing Team (SRT) satellite team officially changed its name to RNF MotoGP Racing starting MotoGP 2022.

Under the contract with Dorna Sports, RNF MotoGP Racing will be a satellite team in MotoGP at least until the 2026 season.

The team will still be led by Razlan Razali, but Sepang International Circuit (SIC), is out of ownership of RNF MotoGP Racing.

Although there has been no official announcement, it is certain that RNF MotoGP Racing will continue the SRT position as a Yamaha satellite team as previously agreed.

“It’s like an adventure through a storm for us,” said Razlan Razali, reported by GridOto.com from Crash.net.

“In the last few months, we did everything to start over, rebranding, and relaunching this team as a fresher and stronger MotoGP team.”

Yamaha has also confirmed one rider name for the RNF MotoGP Racing next season.

It is Andrea Dovizioso who will reportedly use a factory-spec motorcycle next season.
