Universities support parralian judokas with scholarships sports parral – El Sol de Parral

Judo Parralense has been characterized in its history by having high quality talents, which has allowed athletes to be supported by university educational institutions, supporting them with scholarships to carry out their educational professional career, as well as to represent and give a status to these universities in the different events, within judo.

Such is the case of these three young people who emerged from Judo Kan Parral, Jesús Gibran Torres Arvizu, Luis Carlos Ramos Peña and Emmanuel Torres Cazares, where for this 2021, the first two will be being supported by the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), while the third will be at the University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ).

During the history of this difficult sport, Judo Parralense has been characterized by sending its best athletes to different universities, from the Monterrey Campus Technological Institute, University of Nuevo León, University of Juárez, University of Sonora, University of the State of Mexico and University Autonomous of Chihuahua.

Being the supplier of these athletes the Club Judo Kan Parral where the best athletes in this discipline have emerged and always imported quality judokas.

These judokas have emerged and trained since their childhood, Youth, Student and Senior stages, in the Judo Kan Parral gym, in charge of Professor Andrés Martínez, in this period 2021-2022, these three lovers of this difficult sporting discipline join, to be representing the aforementioned Universities.

The first is the international judoka, Jesús Gibran Torres Arvizu in the 81 kg division at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, as well as Luis Carlos Ramos Peña in the 66 kg division, also at the University of Nuevo León.

The other judoka emerged from the Parral Judokan Club, Emmanuel Torres Cazares in the 66-kilo division, will represent the University of Ciudad Juárez, all of them pupils of the professor, José Andrés Martínez.
