Tottenham hadn’t let themselves be caught out on the outings of the national teams, but against Crystal Palace it was a shadow of itself.

The home team dominated the match, but was unable to capitalize on that dominance – 7 shots on goal against 0 of the visitors in the first half.

Fifteen minutes before the end, Zaha broke the spell from the spot after Davies’ hands, then debutant Edouard started walking with attention.

The replacement for Red Devil Benteke scored the redeeming 2-0 after 84 minutes, almost immediately after his substitute. In the final phase, the PSG product further increased the score.
