Cuneo – Thousands of children and young people for an edition of Sport Day that wanted to invade various spaces, squares, streets and green areas of the city. Many sports are practiced from volleyball to basketball, from football to tennis, from rugby to karate, from judo to horse riding, from tennis to orienteering, from chess to gymnastics.
On the stage, moments of presentation of city sports activities by sports groups alternated, giving space to activities between the various disciplines in rotation; in the playgrounds of piazza Foro Boario, piazza Boves, piazza Martiri della Libertà, the pedestrian area of corso Giolitti and Parco della Resistenza.
Satisfaction from the organizers and the councilor Cristina Clerico: “We are finally able to organize something for everyone with sport and children as protagonists”.
During the day the fields of the Youth Park were named after Alessandro Witzel and the new Walter Merlo athletics field was also inaugurated and the new renovated and refurbished facilities, the gymnastics house in via Bongioanni and the former media gym were discovered 4 with the new floor.
