This Saturday the 2021 inter club Judokan Parral judo tournament will be taking place, after several months of not being able to do it due to the contingency known to all before the Covid-19, with the sole objective of checking and detecting lovers of this difficult sport, to represent Parral in upcoming official competitions.

The above was expressed by Professor Andrés Martínez, current head of the Municipal Judo Committee in Parral, pointing out that the sole purpose of holding this event is to further promote and promote this sporting discipline among the children and young people who practice it.

He also indicated that this activity is resumed after due to the contingency as a result of Covid-19, this inter-club event of the Judokan Parral could not be held, which serves to check and detect advances in talents, to form a selective that will represent Parral in upcoming events or official competitions of this complicated sport.

Likewise, the president of the CMJ in Parral, reported that judocas come to this tournament, after having participated in several camps, where they were receiving knowledge of the different combat techniques, which they will be showing during this event.

The tournament begins this Friday with the weigh-in ceremony, a mass that will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., while the competition will take place on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the facilities of the New Parral Gymnasium.

The categories that will be in action are: 4 and 5 years; 6 and 7 years; 7 and 8 years; 9 and 10 years; 11 and 12 years old and 13 and 14 years old, both in the men’s and women’s branches, where at the end all participants will receive their participation medal.

In addition, on Sunday, September 5, from ten o’clock in the morning at the New Parral Gymnasium, a total of 35 children received their certificate of changing ribbons (Yellow, Orange, Green and Blue), being the synod, Lic. Miguel Carrera , Lic. José Andrés Martínez Rojas and the international competitor, Jesús Gibran Torres Arvizo.
