The third stage of autosprint ‘Goose Cup 2021’ has been completed

In Zosēni, near Vecpiebalga, the fourth stage of the Latvian autosprint cup competition season was held – “Zosēnu kauss 2021”. In the 2.5-kilometer-long gravel stage, the athletes had to complete three races, of which the best two were taken into account.

In the 4WD OPEN test, the fastest in the sum of three races was Andris Spilva (95 pts), who left Jānis Jursons (95) and Mairi Sarmuli (90) behind. Each of these riders won by victory. In the 4WD class, winning two races, first Sarmulis (100), followed by Elmārs Aukšmuksts (92) and Edvards Berzups (87). In the 2WD Open class, Miks Ķenavs (100) was convincingly the fastest in all three races, leaving Renārs Agulis (87) and Aivi Bērziņš (85) behind.

In the AUDI QUATTRO test, winning two races, the first was Sarmulis (100), followed by Andris Vanags (95) and Jānis Jursons (87). In the RWD Open class, thanks to two victories, the first was Reinis Vilkaitis (100), followed by rally driver Ralfs Sirmacis (95) and Andris Ozols (90). The fastest in the RWD class was Sirmacis (100), followed by Ozols (95) and Ģirts Vītiņš (84).

Kristaps Priedīte (95) won the fierce battle in the 1600 class, followed by Māris Millers (92) and Oskars Remess (90). Miks Ķenavs (100) was the first in the class 2000, followed by Raivo Ozoliņš (95) and Edgars Eltermanis (83). The first three places for the ladies were taken by Iveta Lauciņa (95), Renita Aukšmukste (95) and Agate Kristena Krieviņa (92). Finally, the first three in the Junior test are the following – Matīss Ralfs Putniņš (100), Dāvis Cerbulis (95) and Aleksis Aleksejevs (84).

The final stage of the season will take place on October 9 on the Kurzeme side.
