The Paralympic and Olympic result is equal: Lenia Ruvalcaba

Lenia Ruvalcaba won the bronze medal in judo at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, when questioned about the comparison that exists between conventional and Paralympic sport, she considered that individual work should not be demerited.
“I do not like to compare, I know that the challenge is important and the result of an Olympic and Paralympic athlete is worth the same, everyone knows the merits that are required to be able to reach the fair,” he declared.
The Mexican delegation in the Paralympic Games accumulate 21 medals, of which seven are gold; while in the Olympic Games four bronze metals were obtained.
The judoka accepted that Mexico always gets more medals in the Paralympic sport, because there are more opportunities, due to the classification.
Ruvalcaba pointed out that to have better results, the first step is to improve sports education in Mexico.
Regarding economic aid, the tapatia was clear, “We were supported with camps in Spain prior to the Paralympic Games to improve the level of backwardness, the only difference would be in terms of state scholarships, which are not the same as the provided by the Federal Government “.
Lenia Ruvalcaba is a triple Paralympic medalist in Beijing 2008 she won silver, for Rio 2016 she won gold and in Tokyo 2020 she won bronze.
