AVIGLIANA – The wait is over starts European Baseball Championships is near. The Local Organizing Committee, the Italian Baseball Softball Federation, the FIBS Piemonte, the institutions directly involved the Piedmont Region, the cities of Turin, Avigliana and Settimo Torinese, the host clubs Grizzlies Torino 48, Avigliana Bees, Avigliana Rebels, Bc Settimo are working tirelessly, so that everything is perfect. The national teams are ready to take the field, on Friday in Fossano and Novara the last friendlies were played in preparation for EuroBaseball2021 which from 12 to 19 September which will take place in Avigliana, in Settimo Torinese and in Turin.
THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament is the first major sporting event organized in Italy in the “covid” era, which will be the prelude to other important competitions that will involve the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region such as: the Nitto ATP Finals and the grouping of the Davis Cup of tennis, the UEFA Nation League of football and others. The entire tournament will be broadcast live on the baseballsoftball.tv portal of the European Baseball and Softball Federation, while the qualifying matches of the Azzurri coached by manager Mike Piazza and the final stages will be followed live by Sky Sport. This is the schedule: on 14 September in Avigliana at 20.30 Italy vs Austria.
