The enormous gesture of Luka Doncic with which he honors his childhood

NBA Mavericks player Luka Doncic has assisted in the remodel of his childhood basketball courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. According to the Texas team, the star joined NBA2K Foundations to renovate the courts where he grew up playing basketball.. The renovation includes new seats and lighting.

Numerous young fans (many of them in Mavericks outfits and Doncic himself) attended to the event during which the renovated pitches were officially unveiled. The youngsters spent time playing together with Doncic, who participated in some of the exercises.

Doncic was born in Ljubljana 22 years ago and spent the first 13 years of his life there before moving to Madrid to join the Royal academies. The rest is already part of history, with the Slovenian player climbing the ranks of the club, reaching the first team and emerging as their leader in his teens. In 2018 and after winning the Euroleague as a season and MVP of the Final Four, he made the leap to the NBA to become one of the superstars of the League.
