The Tarbes Exhibition Center will host the American Saloon from September 17 to 19. More than 7,000 people are expected over three days.
After the success of the formula initiated in 2019, the American Saloon will once again bring together the Tarbes American Festival, the Tarbes Poker Game and the International Tattoo Exhibition in one weekend. Thus, the American Saloon will be a great opportunity to meet country fans, poker strategists and tattoo lovers! More than 7,000 people are expected over three days in Tarbes on this occasion.
Le Tarbes American Festival
For its 6th edition, the Tarbes American Festival will make you travel to North America again and again! As every year, you will find more than thirty exhibitors for good deals around motorcycles, but also fashion, decoration, or even country music.
There will also be entertainment to delight young and old. Carchet City will immerse you in the atmosphere of a western village with riders and even a bank attack! You will be able to participate in rides of motorcycles and US cars through the city of Tarbes and a parade of vehicles on the roads of the department. An exhibition of beautiful American cars will also be offered for your viewing pleasure. Pin-up parades are scheduled with the Miss Pin-up France committee, to bring a touch of glamor. You can also attend cheerleading demonstrations with the Lons Cheerleading Club, loyal to the Tarbes American Festival. There will also be a big mechanical show with showbike and stunt motorcycles with the HD Stunt team. An introduction to archery with the Séméac Olympic club to give yourself the air of an Apache warrior! You will also be able to discover American history with a beautiful collection of vinyls and the presence of Sharon and Philippe Etienne, backpackers who will be able to answer all your questions concerning life and travel in the United States!
But we can also dance. Country, rock, square dance, lindy hop, swing… The Tarbes American Festival will make fans of all levels dance thanks to workshops led by choreographer Christiane Favillier, who has been setting the pace of country dance for more than 20 years and Marie and Philo from Studio 8, specialized in lindy hop, charleston, tap dance and rock. And there will also be something to swing with dance demonstrations and open floors to try out all the steps: rockabilly, country or even Irish dancing. Finally, there will be concerts with three groups: Nashville 1950 and its true rockabilly sound; The Shooters Tribes, for the enjoyment of country and American rock and the Duo Leslie Ryan, inspired by great singers like Dolly Parton.
Le Tarbes Poker Game
The Tarbes Poker Game is an 8 player table tournament, open to 300 players. The Tarbaise de Poker association offers amateur players to test their strategy and try to win: a round trip to Las Vegas and dozens of other prizes. For its second edition, the Tarbes Poker Game will welcome “guests”: Audrey Petitjean, Matthieu Renoud, Jojo Poker and Christophe Ducros, all participants or big winners of La Maison du Bluff. L’International Tattoo Exhibition
The second edition of the International Tattoo Exhibition will allow visitors to meet young talents and established artists (selected by a jury of professional tattooists) and to get tattoos directly at the show. The international dimension of this convention will also be there, since tattoo artists will come from all over Europe. The three days will be hosted by Pascal Tourain, the Tattooed Man, actor, humorist and shoman. About thirty professional tattooists will be present. There will be several battles between two tattoo artists around different themes. There will also be concerts with Way For Nothing and Lord Kossity.
