It was in the pipes, it’s now official. The Serbo-American point guard / back Marcus Paige signed this Thursday evening at the Orleans Loiret Basket announced the club in a press release.

“Marcus Paige was drafted in 2016 at the 55th position by the Brooklyn Nets”, specifies the OLB in its press release before leaving for Salt Lake City in G-League in October 2016. He then joined “Minnesota Timberwolves to play in 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas”.
“In August 2017, he signed up with the Charlotte Hornets with whom he participated in five NBA meetings before being loaned to the Greensboro Swarm”, adds the club.
28-year-old Marcus Paige arrives from Partizan Belgrade where he played since July 2018 and was running at a little over 12 points, 4 assists for 12.5 evaluation during its first year. The Serbo-American has notably played in the Eurocup (47 games). “He is a creative left-hander who has a great basketball IQ but also a great quality of 3-point shoot”, reacts coach Germain Castano in the club press release.
Another recruit to close the Orleans transfer window
With Chris Warren, Youssou N’Doye and the three Frenchmen JP Dally, Kévin Dinal and Bruno Cingala-Mata, he will miss a rookie from Orleans to count nine pros in the group, including Malela Mutualé and LaMonte Ulmer.
