AFTER THE BREAK DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

San Martín judo resumed its activities for different ages

After the recess imposed by the pandemic, the Judo Club Atlético San Martín has resumed its activity last week, with full satisfaction at this possibility, and with the help of Prof. Santiago Falco, who left his impressions on the matter.

“After a year and a half of working with Zoom or with a restricted activity for the older ones who could attend the Federation, we are very satisfied to be able to restart the activity with the little ones, in a sport that although it is not so massive, it is extremely comprehensive, combining body and mind like no other, which also offers the possibility of being practiced by all ages ”, said Falco.

Regarding the activities, he pointed out that the groups from 4 to 7 years old train on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 to 7 pm; while children from 8 to 14 years old do it from 7 to 8 pm. on the same days, while the older ones and adults do it from 8 pm to 9 pm.

“We carry out movements of fine mobility, warming up, fighting and school self-defense,” the teacher also pointed out, highlighting that it is “without violence and without blows, to defend ourselves against certain situations such as bullying,” he explained.

Likewise, he invited those interested to obtain more information and reports on the Judo Club San Martín Facebook page, through Instagram, or at the Club’s secretariat, being a condition of being a member of the same.

“We have also made the decision that the boys can try and only after a month begin to pay,” he concluded
