Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire. Almost normal recovery for judo

After two sporting years marked by the crisis, the life of the gemmois judo-club resumes under almost normal conditions. The association offers various martial arts courses, but also muscle building, for all ages. The youngest can start judo around 4 years old. The club also welcomes people with disabilities. In addition to judo, Professor François Pazola offers courses in ju-jitsu and self-defense.

In this new school year, adults must present the health pass to access the dojo, this will also be the case for those over 12 from the end of the month. We can use the changing rooms and the showers, but in this case, the town hall of Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire asks us to disinfect them after use. We already spend a lot of time volunteering to clean the dojo. It is difficult for us to go before and after each athlete in the club, in this room located on the ground floor ”,indicates a volunteer.

Pending further instructions, the athletes come directly to the dojo in uniform.

This year, the Gemmois judo-club is opening a second judo session for children aged 6 to 14. This course takes place on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The judo teacher would also like to recruit more athletes for the adapted judo course.

In addition to the lessons, the association should offer activities to its members during the season.
