PSV Eindhoven and Götze win, Monaco lose

Mario Götze clinched his first victory in the Europa League with PSV Eindhoven and took the lead in the standings. The Dutch top club won with the 2014 world champions in Rio in the starting eleven at Sturm Graz with a clear 4-1 (1-0) and overtook AS Monaco with coach Niko Kovac in Group B.

Ibrahim Sangare (32nd), Eran Zahavi (51st), the ex-Augsburgers Philipp Max (74th) and Yorbe Vertessen (78th) scored for Eindhoven, Jon Stankovic (55th) only made it to Graz.

Kovac loses with Monaco

Group rivals Monaco made a mistake at Real Sociedad San Sebastian and did not get more than 1: 1 (1: 0). It was the first goal for goalkeeper Alexander Nübel from AS Monaco this season of the Europa League, at the beginning the former Munich and Schalke had kept the clean slate in the 1-0 against Graz. Olympique Lyon wins again

Without the injured Jérôme Boateng, Olympique Lyon won the second game in the Europa League. The eleven of the former Bundesliga coach Peter Bosz prevailed 3-0 (0-0) against Brondby IF on Thursday evening and consolidated the table lead in Group A.
