Professional basketball arrives in Rio Grande

RIO GRANDE. The Municipal Gymnasium of Río Grande will host the preseason game of the Pacific Basketball Circuit (Cibapac) on Tuesday, September 21, reported the Department of Sports of this municipality.

The stellar meeting will be between the teams Delfines de Mazatlán and Centauros de Durango, who will be with their full roster of players, as they are on a tour of preparation for the start of the 2021 season.

Previously there will be a regional basketball match between the Rio Grande team and the Miguel Auza team, a rivalry that has sparked the floor.

The appointment is at 4:00 p.m. at the Municipal Gymnasium of Río Grande, where all sanitary measures will be followed and the use of face masks will be mandatory. There will also be sale of snacks and Mexican snacks in support of local teams.
