The CD Badminton Zamora has returned to the slopes after the typical summer break and has done so offering very good feelings on his return, which took place in the National Master Sub-17 held this weekend in Oviedo. A date in which Natalia Colino was his best representative.
Despite having only been training for two weeks, The U-17 players of the Zamorano club played a very good role in Asturias, since although the victories were not the main objective, they achieved good results.
Natalia Colino was the most outstanding in this section, since her good game in the group stage allowed her access the tournament playoffs and measure against Daniela Corchón (Soria) against which he lost by 23-21 and 21-17, touching the quarter finals.
In addition, he also reaped his first triumph Elena Turiel, who defeated a rival well above her in the national ranking, although later she could not access the final phase of the championship, yielding in her last match to Paula Yedra (Cantabria) by a tight 21-19 and 21-16. Zamorano’s high performance was also reflected in the doubles category, in which the couples Aitana Ares-Elena Turiel and Eric Casas-Natalia Colino, handled themselves masterfully against superior opponents, reaffirming the good feelings in the return to activity of CD Badminton Zamora.
