Today and tomorrow will take place the 21st edition of “Open Doors to Sport”, an initiative promoted by the Sports Department of the Municipality of Pinerolo, in collaboration with the Life Association of Pinerolo which will manage and take care of the event and its development.
The opening of all municipal sports facilities is scheduled for Saturday 18 from 14 to 20 and Sunday 19 from 10 to 19.
Furthermore, on Sunday from 10 to 19 Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Parco della Pace will be entirely dedicated to Sport. In the Olympic area there will be a second-hand sports market, as well as many other sports activities that will present their services at the Peace Park.
During the two days it will be possible to discover and try out numerous disciplines for free: belly dance, power yoga, baby belly dance, pilates, yoga, Caribbean dances, bachata, dance, kickboxing, reggaeton, break dance, hip hop, field hockey, rugby, fitness, pole dance, spinning, martial arts, football, volleyball, athletics, soccer, frisbee, kung fu, sanda, bowls, chess, acrobatics, judo, water activities, oriental disciplines, nordic walking, snowshoes, gymnastics, swimming, ice skating, hockey, curling, archery, futsal, tennis, padel, karate, bridge, crossfit, basketball, alpine skiing, aikido, tai chi, chanbara, tai chi chuan, shaolinquan, ballet, dance modern, jazz, musical, artistic gymnastics, parkour, circus, aerial acrobatics, senior gymnastics, cycling, tango, cheerleader, sports dance, fencing, sport climbing, horseback riding, athletics, calisthenics, fitwalking, hiking, weightlifting.
The areas can be easily reached by bike or scooters using the cycle path. Furthermore, only on Sunday 19th there will be a train that will run throughout the day from 10am to 7pm. Each ride will cost a token to be paid directly to the train manager.
