National Superior Basketball is reactivated with four games on the agenda | sports

The National Superior Basketball (BSN) will return to normal today, Monday, after a weekend without games and dedicated to the activities of the All-Star Game.

A total of four games will be held on Monday, led by the duel between the Leones de Ponce and the Capitanes de Arecibo at the Manuel Petaca Iguina Coliseum, starting at 8:00 pm.

The Indios de Mayagüez will also visit the Piratas de Quebradillas, at the Raymond Dalmau Coliseum, while the Cariduros de Fajardo will travel to face the Atléticos de San Germán, at the legendary Arquelio Torres.

The Humacao Grays complete the series of matches by hosting the Carolina Giants at the Marcelo Trujillo Panisse Coliseum.

The local league is now entering the final stretch of the regular season, scheduled to end on October 6.

As of today, the four teams that would qualify for the postseason through Section A are: Arecibo, Fajardo, Quebradillas and Ponce.

Meanwhile, from Section B, Bayamón, Guayama, Santurce and Guaynabo would advance.

The BSN took a break from last Friday to Sunday to give way to the celebrations related to the All-Star Game, which was held this year in Arecibo.

The team of guard David Huertas prevailed over the quintet of forward Benito Santiago Jr. with a score of 136-116. The Most Valuable Player award went to Ponce Lions point guard Jezreel De Jesús.

Justin Reyes, of the Mayagüez Indios, won the donqueos competition, while Jonathan Rodríguez, of the Arecibo Capitanes, dominated the triples competition.

Cariduros de Fajardo point guard KJ Maura won the skills competition.
