BarcelonaThe Real Madrid market has passed through France. After running out of Mbappé, the white club has announced the incorporation of Angola-born French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The white club has paid about 30 million euros fixed plus 15 in variables for the transfer of the young player of only 18 years of Rennes, one of the most promising players on the continent. Camavinga, who made his debut at the age of 16 in the Primera Division and has already played for the French national team, is signing a contract for the next six seasons.
The signing of a player who was also on the agenda of PSG has closed the folder of one of the summer series, that of Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has reportedly made a new offer to take the 22-year-old French star from PSG, this time for 200 million. Madrid had initially offered 160 million euros for the player but failed. A few days later it offered 170 million, plus 10 more in variables. Then yes, PSG agreed to negotiate to close an operation in which the sporting director, Leonardo, already warned that they had the pan by the handle: “If Mbappé leaves it will be with our conditions.” And those conditions were a lot more money. Madrid, however, could play a card in their favor. If PSG do not sell Mbappé this summer, from January 2022 they will be free to negotiate with whomever they want. And the summer of 2022 would leave without leaving a single euro as a transfer to the French. It is one thing to be rich and another to give up 180 million.
Florentino Pérez, therefore, gave an ultimatum to PSG until Monday afternoon, waiting for an answer that did not arrive. Thus, Madrid had no choice but to increase the supply: according to some sources to 180 fixed. But nothing at all. Perez ordered the negotiations to end but would have returned today. Despite all this, PSG are still determined to keep Mbappé, knowing that he will have a year to convince the young player to sign a renewal that he now does not want to sign. Otherwise, he would leave for free next year. Mbappé will therefore continue at PSG with Messi and Neymar. And Madrid will try to sign him later.
