Lucca Academy Basket, over one hundred boys and girls at the open week – Sport

A synergy that is already bearing fruit. Success for the open week promoted by Lucca Academy Basket, the company created at the behest of Basketball Club Lucca and Basket Le Mura, with the aim of offering the little ones a unique opportunity in the local basketball scene. A moment of aggregation, growth, discovery and relationship which, from 1st to 11th September, involved boys and girls aged 5 to 11, who were able to get to know the world of basketball more closely. A precious opportunity for about 50 children who have chosen to try the new experience of the ball in wedges and a confirmation for other 80 young athletes who, already previously enrolled in the Lab, have still participated in the initiative.

The groups, divided by age from 2010 to 2016, animated the Palatagliate in a right mix of movement, sociality and inclusion, culminating in last Saturday’s training which also saw the participation of the two great Lucca basketball clubs. On the closing day, in fact, alongside the small protagonists of the Lucca Academy Basket, Francesca Parmesani, Sofia Frustaci and Maria Miccoli for the A series of Basketball Le Mura and Davide Vona and Jacopo Pierini for the C Gold series of Basketball Club Lucca also took part. . A pleasant surprise was also the participation of Caterina Cerri and Sofia Michelotti from Serie B Le Mura Spring.
