LPGA: Three golfers at the top of the standings at the NW Arkansas Championship

ROGERS, Ark. – In Lim Kim, Katherine Kirk and Eun-Hee Ji all took control of the NW Arkansas Championship on Friday.

Kim, Kirk and Ji turned in a 63 (under-8) card on the Pinnacle Golf Club course to take the lead in the first round.

Sarah Burnham played 64 and took fourth place just one stroke off the leaders.

A contingent of five golfers, consisting of Nasa Hataoka, Lindsey Weaver, Pajaree Anannarukarn, Aditi Ashok and Klara Spilkova, ended the day with a cumulative score of minus-6.

Kim and Burnham presented the best card of their careers while Ji tied his career best round.

Kirk is one of three players to take part in the tournament’s 15 performances, along with local favorite Brittany Lang and Stacy Lewis.

In a round of 67, Brooke M. Henderson is the highest-ranked Canadian in the tournament, tied for 16th. Her compatriot Alena Sharp (71) is tied for the 83rd echelon.
