Laroque-d’Olmes. Youth Cathares Pyrenees football on rails

On Saturday, the FC Laroquais football school made its comeback. Under a hot sun and in a festive atmosphere punctuated by music, leaders, educators, children and parents responded, dispelling all doubts. Under the banner “Jeunesse Pyrénées Cathares de Football”, and by joining the “Club Futsal des BonsHommes” in Lavelanet, it offered an “open house” day at the Lopez-Tremezaygues stadium.

“We issued invitations, only Laroque responded favorably to build a project together,” said Ali Baguigui, president of the futsal club. Nassim Oukrabou and Romain Diaz, managers of the Laroquaise football school, agree with this. “Parents ask questions, let them know that we are no longer in agreement with Lavelanet football,” says Nassim. Today, we are counting on the youth of the land of Olmes and that of Aigues-Vives and Léran. We contacted these municipalities. The idea is to create a large football school in Cathar country, a solid three-year project. “

Saturday, for a first, it was successful. Other days and activities are scheduled. “It’s a beautiful morning, especially since we are starting from zero with the end of the agreement, note the co-presidents of FC Laroquais, Nabil Lahlouah and Stéphane Vidal. It’s a first test and we have fulfilled the missing boxes for educators and senior players get involved. “

Welcome, workshops, initiation, registrations… Boys, but also four girls. The parents present were reassured. Trainings take place on Wednesdays, later on Saturdays as well. The U7s are supervised by Malick Sétouti and Cédric Boyer; the U9, U11 and women, by Nassim Oukrabou; the U13s, by Mickaël Mélouli; the U15s, by Bryan Amada and Ricardo Freitas.
