Karolína Plíšková will not play at the tournament in Ostrava

A three-week break awaits Plíšková

Due to the worsening of difficulties, we agreed on a three-week break from tournament workload and treatment,” said wrist surgery specialist orthopedist Radek Kebrle, whose medical care is Plíšková.
In December 2016, Kebrle saved Kvitová’s career, who sewed seven tendons and two nerves of her left hand, cut during an assault in her Prostějov apartment.
