Judo, also De Tullio from Bari at the Junior World Championships in Olbia

There will also be Giuseppe De Tullio from Bari at the Junior Judo World Championship. The news came a few hours ago directly from the FIJLKAM headquarters. The Junior World Judo Championships will take place at PalAtogusto in Olbia from 6 to 10 October 2021 and will be the first world youth event after the recent Tokyo Olympics.

The athlete of the Judo Team Iacovazzi of Valenzano, fresh from the Under 21 European Championships in Luxembourg with the Italian National team, will be able to confront some of the protagonists of the next Olympic cycle (concentrated in a three-year period) with the prospect of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The event – entirely behind closed doors in compliance with anti Covid regulations – provides for the holding of competitions that will assign individual titles from 6 to 9 October, with the final block taking place starting at 16.00. The Mixed Team Event will be scheduled on 10 October. The Inauguration Ceremony, attended by the President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, the FIJLKAM President Domenico Falcone, will take place on Wednesday 6 October at 3.00 pm and in reduced mode, in accordance with the anti-covid restrictions provided for the event.
