A terrifying scene came to a happy ending on Saturday during a college football game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The Miami Hurricanes were facing off against the Appalachian State Mountaineers when spectators noticed a cat that fell from the top of the stadium.
The feline had managed to grab onto a thread, but looked as though it was about to fall several meters, most likely fatal.
A handful of supporters therefore set out to hang an American flag under the place where the animal was hanging in order to catch it and save its life.
The strategy proved to be a success and the spectators celebrated their rescue in complete euphoria.
