The Judo World Cup made a stop in Bosnia / Herzegovina this weekend. With Höllwart Maria and Scharfetter Thomas (both Sanjindo), two Salzburg judoka were also at the start at the Sarajevo European Open.
Höllwart Maria fights her weight class change from + 78kg to the up to 78kg class under the last eight and conquers a top World Cup placement with seventh place. Scharfetter Thomas (-90kg) is defeated by the French Grandhaie in his opening fight and is therefore eliminated early.
