Harden announces the team to beat in the East … and snubs the Nets!

If the Eastern Conference is not as high as its counterpart in the West, some teams still have a pretty crazy level. Asked about THE franchise to shoot this year, James Harden however surprised … because he left his own!

It’s no secret Brooklyn is among the overwhelming title favorites for the 2021-22 season. Armed with a bloodthirsty superteam, Blacks and Whites intend to reign in the league from this campaign, as well as those to follow. James Harden has also made the buzz recently, throwing a terrifying message to the competition.

However, the superstar knows that the road to the ultimate coronation is long and difficult, and that the opponents are at least as motivated. That’s why he says his franchise is by no means the team to shoot down in the coming year. According to him, we should rather look from Wisconsin to find “the lucky one”:

When asked if the Nets have a target in the back, James Harden recalled that it was the Bucks who won the title and therefore must be defeated first, in order to win the conference.

What could be more logical, since the defending champion is obviously an opponent to be taken particularly seriously, especially as Mike Budenholzer’s group did not suffer many losses during the summer. He therefore knows perfectly well what Giannis & co….

However, when we know the ego of Steve Nash’s players, we can easily imagine that they intend to wash away this affront in the weeks to come. It wouldn’t be surprising if Kevin Durant and consort wish to face them again in the playoffs! One thing is certain, the winner of such a series would pose a huge option on the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

James Harden proclaims it loud and clear, Brooklyn is not the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. When we see the Black and White roster, we still have a little trouble believing it …
