The MOU was signed with Galaxia SM (CEO Lee Ban-seok), a sports marketing company. SBS Medianet is operating 8 channels that provide programs of various genres such as SBS Sports, the representative sports channel, and SBS Golf, the first golf channel in Korea, lifestyle, and music.

NFT, which means ‘non-fungible token’, means that ownership of digital content is recorded on the block chain, and allows individuals to hold digital assets such as videos and images with scarcity. Recently, interest in NFTs in various fields such as art, sports, and entertainment is rapidly increasing. In fact, in ‘NBS Topshot’, which deals with NFT digital cards of NBA players, a 10-second video of LeBron James, who is considered the best active player, was traded for $208,000 (about 240 million won).

Through this NFT business cooperation, Galaxy Metaverse has secured video IPs for various game fields such as golf tournaments and badminton owned by SBS Medianet, and is leading the expansion of sports marketing using NFT by securing the most sports IPs. playing an antagonistic role.
