Friday, September 10th 2021 – TSV Gammertingen 1863 eV

In addition to training, there is always something to do with the local baseball team.

So last Friday became the Labor input loaded. Groundsman Sebastian Dieminger called his hard-working helpers together to distribute bricks in front of the advertising wall and to paint the wood on the home dugout. In addition to softball training, many gentlemen, youth and school players came to make their place one of the most beautiful in southern Germany. The call to work was rounded off by Arthur Müller’s promise to serve the helpers and of course the women who were training a Russian shashlik. At this point, a big thank you to Arthur and of course to everyone who actively supported the Royals on this day.

They were on Sunday Men’s the royal invited to another association league game in Ulm with the Falcons. Despite the vacation time, there were enough players to make the trip. In bright weather the Gammertingers were allowed to prove their skills, but showed many errors in the entire game and thus it was 4 to 0 for the Ulm team very quickly. However, the baseball department of TSV Gammertingen was able to turn the game to an 8 to 6 lead. The Ulm team then caught up and were rewarded with many points, the guests were able to cut back to 11 to 12 in the 8th inning. Unfortunately, the Royals couldn’t score any more points in the last, very exciting inning and had to return home with a narrow defeat.

Next Saturday the next double match day of the men’s association league will take place. The match against the Tübigen Hawks, which was canceled due to the heavy rain, will be made up in the home country and then the regular game against the “Falcons” will be played.
