A real feast for those who are passionate about trekking, hiking, but also climbing, mtb, yoga and meditation, slackline and highline, archery, bushcraft, activities for children and families and, of course, running, with the montanaro trail, a race also in its 8th edition, which offers a 24 km route in a spectacular scenery ofTuscan-Emilian Apennines.
Recreate with nature – The hashtag of this eighth edition will be RestartFromNature with the aim of promoting a culture of outdoor sports that respects the environment and is able to conceive man as an integral part of that nature in which he lives and practices sports. The Pistoia Mountains offer an excellent welcome as well as ideal places and large natural spaces where activities and experiences can be carried out in total safety.
Cinema section – The call for the international film competition is open Adventure Movie Awards, which has always accompanied the event, selecting some of the best short and medium-length adventure films on the world scene. The prizes of the 2021 edition will be: Grivel Golden Axe Award (the famous golden ice ax, Piolet D’Or) the prize for the best story or expedition. Adventure green award, the award for the most significant video on nature and ecology. No Limits To Happiness Award, award dedicated, together with Dynamo Camp, to the strength, resilience and incredible feats of athletes, explorers, disabled travelers.
Beneficial purposes – The event, organized thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of San Marcello Piteglio (PT) and the Caript Foundation, provides for a broad collaboration with various realities including Dynamo Social Valley, Dynamo Sport, CAI Maresca, Slackline Toscana, Versante Apuano, Canyon Park, Forest Therapy, Doganaccia 2000, IKP orienteering and the Foundation’s Master in Outdoor Education Alma Mater of Bologna. Dynamo Camp Onlus will be Charity partner of the festival and the proceeds from the sale of the official t-shirt will go to support the Dynamo Recreational Therapy projects that the Onlus offers free of charge to children and teenagers with serious illnesses and their families. Discover Pistoia and Naturart will instead be among the media partners of this event, which already includes, among its sponsors, important companies such as Grivel, Teva and Hoka One One.
