Within the framework of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, Rigans and city guests will have a great opportunity to watch the winner of the “Ferratum World RX of Riga” determined on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19. In addition, Latvian motorists Jānis Baumanis and Edijs Ošs will try to prove their strength in the FIA European Rallycross Championship for two days.
Saturday at 09:00 Biķernieki track territory will be open to spectators. At the FIA World Championships, athletes will make three qualifying races before 17:00 for the upcoming semi-finals and the final, in which the winner of the fourth stage of the season will be determined. Also on Sunday, spectators will be able to go to the stands from 09:00 in the morning, but the warm-up trips will start at 10:00. The qualifying rounds of the fifth stage of the FIA World Championship will take place from 11:00, while the participants of the European Championship in the third and fourth qualifiers will find out the participants of the semi-finals, who will find out the best six drivers of the competition after 15:00 in the upcoming third qualifying world championship.
The fastest athletes of the Riga double stage on Sunday at 17:00 will find out in the semi-final and final races, between which spectators will be able to enjoy the European Championship final.
All Ferratum World RX of Riga rides will be available on the newly created RX + platform, but both Saturday and Sunday’s final races will be available for free on Red Bull TV.
