Ex-Bundesliga professional Jean-Philippe Gbamin builds a drunk car accident

Ex-Bundesliga professional Jean-Philippe Gbamin has now received the receipt for a drunk trip in his car. The midfielder was fined and banned from driving.

With this action he has not covered himself with fame. Ex-Bundesliga star Jean-Philippe Gbamin (long with Mainz 05, now under contract with FC Everton) had a car accident in England – drunk.

The receipt followed, according to a report by the English “Sun”: the equivalent of a fine of almost 29,000 euros and a 14-month driving ban. Judge Susanne O’Connell said after the verdict to Gbamin: “You were very lucky that no one was seriously injured.”

What happened? The ex-Mainz had an accident with his Audi RS Q8 on the autobahn at 5 a.m. in early August and collided with a Jaguar. It later turned out that he was drunk, had more alcohol in his blood than allowed.

His comment: “I’m sorry.”
