China recently won the Sudirman Cup in 2019, where the Chinese sent Denmark out of the tournament in the quarterfinals.

It is thus planned for revenge for the Danish team, which came through the group game with two victories and one defeat.

Denmark defeated the Russian team and Canada, but in the group final, Indonesia won 3-2.

In contrast, China won all three of its matches in the group stage.

The Danish team consists of Anders Antonsen, Viktor Axelsen and Mia Blichfeldt, among others.

A match at the Sudirman Cup consists of a men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. It thus takes three more victories to win a match overall.

The other quarterfinals feature clashes between South Korea and Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Japan as well as Malaysia and Indonesia.
