El Ceibo won agonizingly in his presentation in the Provincial Basketball League. He did it as a visitor against Matienzo de Córdoba by 62 to 61.
He did not have a good time at the debut of the 24th edition of the Provincial League during his visit to the capital of the province. He was down on the entire match and was able to turn it back on sheer effort and temper.
It took a lot for the team from our city to stand on a difficult court and against an opponent who complicated it and made it feel uncomfortable on the floor. But the desire to bring a victory was more in the last period where he could turn it around.
The scoring was low throughout the game but in the last ten minutes the “national flower” had its best passage and was able to win it despite suffering in the last ball of the match.
Bruno Pérez was the lynchpin of the team in the final period, taking over almost all offenses. The base Agustín Lozano also had a good game as the most outstanding of the match for the Sanfrancisqueños.
Now El Ceibo should receive Almafuerte de Las Varillas next Friday in our city at the “Antonio Cena”.
