The awarding of medals continues in Archery at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. In Yumenoshima, the center where all the scheduled challenges are held, the verdicts in the category have arrived W1 in the male.
For one point only David Drahoninsky wins gold in a very tight final against the Turkish Nihat Turkmenoglu. 142 to 141 is the final score of a challenge that has always seen the Czech ahead from the first arrows.
Turkey also scored third place thanks Bahattin Hekimoglu. The latter has imposed itself for 139-134 on the Iranian Mohammadreza Zandi who in the semifinal had lost 131 to 139 against the future winner of the tournament.
