The hand in plaster forces Dominic Thiem to take a tennis break. At home he can now train with his new dog instead.
In terms of sport, Dominic Thiem didn’t have much to laugh about this year. The start of the season failed. In preparation for Wimbledon he injured himself on Mallorca and is still suffering from the complicated wrist injury after a setback.
In his private life, however, things are going brilliantly for the Lichtenwörther. He is in a relationship with Lili Paul-Roncalli. The “Let’s Dance” winner congratulated him on his 28th birthday on the weekend and showed a snuggly photo of the two on Instagram.
Thiem celebrated the birthday himself with his family. “It’s the first time in years that I’m celebrating my birthday at home with friends and family,” he writes, sharing a photo with brother Moritz, mother Karin and father Wolfgang. Eye-catching: Dad is holding a dog in his arms.
Now Thiem publishes heartwarming pictures of his new dog. He plays with the four-legged friend. The two share a passion for the ball.
