CM – Meanwhile Dan Vogelbach hit a hard blow and won the Grand Slam against the Cardinals

As the Cubs beat the Pirates with a grand slam from Frank Schwindel, the Brewers and Cardinals were locked in a somewhat more meaningful September affair.

With a three-point lead, it looked like the Cardinals would win a critical game in their quest to stay in the Wild Card race. But the Brewers loaded up the bases and brought pinch hitter – and old friend – Dan Vogelbach to the plate. And, yes, he did the ultimate Grand Slam thing to leave the Cardinals:

David Bote’s will always be better, obviously, but it’s pretty funny to see Vogelbach do that to the Cardinals. Today has been fun.
