‘Club Brugge is disappointed with travel time, Martinez is going to completely change the basic team’

The Red Devils travel to Kazan to take on Belarus on behalf of the World Cup qualifier. According to Het Nieuwsblad, national coach Roberto Martinez plans to completely change his basic team.

Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku and Jan Vertonghen will not travel along, but Charles De Ketelaere and Yari Verschaeren will rejoin. Club Brugge delegates three players with Hans Vanaken, Simon Mignolet and Mechele. On Friday, Blauw-Zwart has to play against KV Oostende.

The travel time is also not nothing. It takes about four hours to fly and there is also a time difference. After the game, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the Red Devils will fly back and land in Charleroi at 5.45 in the morning. Club Brugge is therefore disappointed with the schedule.

National coach Martinez will also make many changes. The newspapaer brings out an expected starting eleven: Casteels; Alderweireld or Dendoncker, Vanheusden, Boyata; Foket, Sambi Lokonga, Tielemans, Castagne; Trossard, Batshuayi or Benteke, Eden Hazard or Praet.
