Chris Paul names the most gifted scorer in the league … and surprises!

After having known many franchises and a good record in the NBA behind him, Chris Paul necessarily has a rather interesting perspective on the current NBA. So when the leader reveals who is the best scorer, we listen. Even if for many, his answer may surprise.

Following a very complicated adventure with the Rockets, Chris Paul relaunched his career with the Thunder. By taking this team with him to the playoffs, with a little help anyway, the leader recalled how strong he was. Scoring, passing and mastering on the floor: if he has not met collective success in his career, CP3 is one of the best.

His leadership towards Oklahoma City made the difference, and it’s not Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who will say the opposite. The youngster benefited from this experience, even though it only lasted a year. It must be said that Paul does not have many years in front of him anymore, so he intends to take the opportunity to win a ring. The failure was still there last year with the Suns, but he was able to find the finals.

Count on Point God to put it back in 2022, even if the mission promises to be very complex. The Lakers will be vindictive and a team like the Warriors will be back in the limelight, at least normally. Still, Paul will be ready, and he hopes why not cross the path of the Nets, and of a certain James Harden.

The two were associated with Houston for two seasons, to a failed result. There were the injuries, but mostly the losses, and an abrupt end with a trade against Russell Westbrook – that experience too turned into a fiasco. Rumors of tensions arose between Harden and Paul, leading to the end of this collaboration. However, the latter seems to have no resentment.

Recently present in a show with Gilbert Arenas, CP3 quickly evoked the best scorer in the league. Yes, his vote goes for the Bearded:

You have to be able to have these conversations. But in Houston, the most frustrating thing was being injured in the first season. It’s crazy. It’s a bit of a blur in my seasons there, because there was so much to deal with. But James Harden, he was good. He was really good. I say it again today, no one can score like him. That’s crazy. I couldn’t trade this experience for another, but I wish I had had those conversations with him. Above all, I would have liked to be in good health.

Chris Paul healthy in Houston? Yes, it could have changed things in Texas. But the leader does not regret his passage, just like his association with James Harden. A unique experience to play with such a scorer, which many will approve.
