The tournament of the Professional Soccer League the ninth date passes. A championship in which each point weighs a lot since the new format of all against all in 25 days will define the quotas for the 2022 Cups.

Argentina has six places for the Libertadores 2022. The champion of the new tournament will qualify directly. In both tournaments, Argentina could add a place in case a team from our country won the 2021 editions. But how River was eliminated from the Libertadores and Central from the South American, the fight for the local tournament is going to get much more powerful. A race that will have no truce will intensify, it will have no respite until the end, with enormous obligations for the most traditional teams in Argentina.

HOW THE AVERAGE IS CALCULATED
Paragraph one of article 24 of the Regulations of the Professional Football League of the 2021 Tournaments indicates that “at the end of the 2021 Tournaments there will be no decline in the category.” But in the next point it is clarified that the “The points obtained from the general table of positions 2021 will be computed together with those of the season 2019/20 and 2022”. Diego Maradona Cup points will not be taken into account.
The declines will only become effective at the end of 2022, but the amount is not yet defined). When that time comes, in Primera there will be 28 teams (The current 26, plus the two that rise from the First National at the end of this season). It is expected that there will be four to begin to progressively decrease the number of teams in the elite until reaching 22 in 2026.
Today, the most committed are Godoy Cruz (0.934), Aldosivi (0.978), Huracán (1,000), Sarmiento (1,000), Board of Trustees (1,021), Platense (1,043), Gimnasia (1,065) and Central Córdoba (1,085).
This is not final, of course, there is a large part of the current tournament and the matches corresponding to the 2022 season (without a defined format).
