At the initiative of IBOA (International Basketball Officials Academy), a refereeing training session called “Okap Arbitrage” will be organized in the North of the country, with the aim of training, developing, inspiring and helping young people in this discipline. .
To this end, a registration form to participate is already in progress for those interested. The leaders of the said organization are unhappy with the decision of the members of the Haitian Basketball Federation who ignore the existence of this sport and threaten to file complaints for them within the Supreme Basketball Authority (FIBA).
However, the Haitian Basketball Federation (FHB) through the North Basketball League denied the existence of the IBOA. What the leaders rejected out of hand.
In response, the IBOA has taken on the wrong foot without the permission of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and promises each participant to award an international certificate if he will pay the full requested fees which are valued at US $ 20.
Faced with such a decision, the Haitian Basketball Federation promises to take appropriate sanctions to all those found guilty.
