For its first and only preparation match, the ASCBB traveled this Friday evening to the floor of Gravelines (NM3).

After an eventful summer marked by the resignation of its coach, the ASCBB had a first test against Gravelines. The start of the match is complicated for the Picards who quickly see the Northerners take off to lead 42-27 at the break. But the players of Frédéric Domon, have character and will show a different image when they get back from the locker room. Three minutes from the end of the third quarter time, the Amiens returned to -3 (45-42). Finally they switch at the end of the third quarter time to 53-49. In the last quarter time, the reds will not succeed in making the switch, paying their efforts. They finally bow 75-67.

A meeting which the coahc had difficulty in forming an opinion, Frédéric Domon, “It’s difficult to form an opinion because the workforce is not complete and some are not physically ready. There are positive points because we were able to face an experienced team and used to playing in NM3, we never gave up. This match allowed me to know our weak points and we will be able to work on them. The big minus point is the knee injury of Thomas Divol.«

The Amiens will have to get to work quickly because they will start the championship this Saturday against Guise home. A meeting for which the latest recruit to date Jordan Gaydu will be available.
