The Beninese Basketball Federation will renew its governing body on September 18. Two candidates covet the great job.
The elective general assembly at the Beninese Basketball Federation will take place on September 18th. To run for the post of president, two candidates are in the running. The duel will take place between the current president Ismahinl Onifadé and his predecessor Alex Abdul Paraïso. In a week’s time, the two men will be decided by the various delegates, following the vote to be held in Porto-Novo.
As for the other positions, 20 candidates are vying for the vice-presidency, treasury, secretariat and organization. According to Martin Djogui, secretary general of the Beninese Basketball Federation, the unveiled list can be appealed against.
