The archer of Città della Pieve on the shields in Porec in Croatia
Excellent result for the very young archer Matteo Seghetta at the European Archery Championships, campaign specialties, which took place from 5 to 12 September in Porec, Croatia. At the first participation with the Italian National at an international event, the young promise from the nursery of Company of Barbican Archers, returns to City of the Pieve with a Silver medal won on Saturday with the Junior Men Team together with Balsamo and Godano.
And then with a gold shared with Eleonora Meloni in the mixed barebow and with a fantastic Gold won in the individual competition against the very strong Swedish opponent Leo Petterson, in an exciting final that ended in a draw and decided at the play-off with the last arrow. “Another sporting excellence that makes Città della Pieve proud for the prestige of the results obtained”, declares the municipal administration of Città della Pieve.
