Twenty-two years later, the African Judo Championships will be contested once again on Algerian soil. Last June, on the sidelines of the work of the General Assembly of the International Judo Federation, in Budapest, the president of the African Judo Union, Siteny Randriasoloniaiko and the former secretary of state in charge of Algerian elite sport , Salima Souakri proceeded to the signing of official documents attributing the organization of the 43rd edition of the “Senior” African Judo Championships to this North African country. This Friday, the Algerian Judo Federation added more precision by informing that the event will take place from April 21 to 24, 2022 in the city of Oran, precisely at the Palais des Congrès of the Méridien hotel.
